State disposals expected to spur Irish mergers – Financial Times

The acceleration of disposals by Ireland’s National Asset Management Agency and the possible sale of state-owned companies are expected to create a buoyant market for mergers and acquisitions in Ireland in 2012, according to a report by law firm William Fry.
