B.C. passes law protecting the Flathead watershed from mining and drilling – Brandon Sun

The law approved Monday by the provincial government comes more than a year after Montana Govenor Brian Schweitzer and former B.C. premier Gordon Campbell signed an agreement to halt exploration work and development in the remote valley north of Glacier park.
