Jurors in Hudson family slayings say they’re split – Boston Globe

In a note to the judge Friday afternoon, jurors said, "We are trying." Prosecutors say Hudson's former-brother-in-law, William Balfour, killed her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew in a fit of jealous rage against her sister, Julia Hudson.
